a question:

is it better to let a strong relationship stop ubruptly, and purposefully, so that you remember how much it means to you, but it hurts like hell?

or is it better for it to fizzle out slowly, so that it doesn't hurt...but the memories and feelings of it all fade into obscurity and you forget how much it all meant?

my question:

would you want to remember how much it meant to you?

im with andy on that.

i don't really know what to think. i guess it depends on who you are, and how strong the relationship actually was.

i would say abrupt is better. it hurts longer if you let it fizzle.

but of course it depends on the background.

to answer all of your questions:
tara-out of impulse
kathleen-anything can happen
andy-no i suppose not

my opinion:
i'm all for the fizzle out slowly, but the problem is, is that even if a relationship doesn't end purposefully, i can end abruptly..

put it this way

anything can happen
